Selecting the right countertop for your kitchen is easy when you work with the professionals at Pierce Laminated Products. It is an easy four step process from your first visit to our showroom to the day your kitchen is transformed with your new countertops.
Step 1 - Style and Materials:
Bring in a sketch of your countertops to our showroom; this will help determine
the best style of countertops and materials. Once you select a material to be used
then we will show you the many ways we can fabricate your tops by carefully discussing
colors, seam locations, edge styles and back splash options. Our staff will prepare
a price or prices with options for built in sinks and installation. These prices
will be a total for the job, not a confusing per square foot price where the customers
do not know what is included.
Step 2 - Measure:
Job site visit, our sales staff will contact you within 48 hours to set an appointment
to measure your tops. Please remove everything from your tops so we can get accurate
dimensions. We will also check the corners to make sure they are square. After we
have all of the measurements, the salesman will go over the complete job with you.
He will explain the colors, seams, the edge and backsplash styles and the installation
process with potential dates. At this time we will collect a 50 percent deposit
with the balance being C.O.D.
Step 3 - Fabrication:
Our shop will now manufacture your tops from start to finish. We custom make your
countertops using our hot press method which allows us to make the corners seamless
and coved end splashes. As the tops near the completion stage, our foreman will
call to set up an installation date.
Step 4 - Installation:
The removal of your old tops and installation of your new tops will all be done
in the same day. Before we arrive, you will need to remove everything from your
lower cabinets for two reasons. First, we will need to get into the cabinets to
remove the old tops and fasten the new tops. Second there will be some dust and
dirt that will fall into the lower cabinets. You will then simply wipe out the cabinets
without having to wash all of the dishes. When our crew arrives in the morning they
will introduce themselves and discuss any job site conditions and an approximate
time for completion. When finished, they will present the job to you with a sign
off form and collect the final payment.
